The configuration of the capacitive level sensor is electrode ( ground electrode , sensing electrode ) by the electronic circuit and the electrode as a capacitor.
The conditions for determining the capacity value of the capacitor , shape , size , placement , and ambient conditions.If it is the same relative dielectric constant (※ 1) other than the condition of the object to be measured , determines the capacitance value of the capacitors by the difference in the relative dielectric constant of the object to be measured.The object to be measured based on the capacitance value when the air , it is possible to determine the difference between the capacitance values which can by different DUT relative dielectric constant.It can also relative permittivity determines the two object to be measured by the one based on the two different object to be measured.And outputs the determination process the signal .
The relative dielectric constant is: The ratio of the capacitance between Capacitance when filled between both electrodes of the capacitor with an insulator ( dielectric ) and Capacitance when the vacuum removes the insulator ( dielectric ) .Constant determined by the type of substance.
